The Dell PowerVault ME5012 is a 2U, entry-level block storage array designed for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs). It balances high performance with large-capacity storage, making it ideal for workloads like virtualization, databases, and high-performance computing.

The ME5012 features a dual-active controller architecture powered by Intel Xeon processors, providing high availability and balanced performance.

- Management Tools: Managed via the web-based PowerVault Manager (HTML5 GUI), CLI, or OpenManage Enterprise. It also integrates with VMware vCenter and Site Recovery Manager

The ME5012 can scale from a minimum of 2 drives up to a maximum of 264 drives by adding expansion enclosures:
